1. Cranberries can helps in preventing urinary tract infections (UTIs):

The cranberry is perhaps best known for its role in preventing urinary tract infections (UTIs), especially for those with recurrent infections. The high level of antioxidant proanthocyanidins (PACs) in cranberries helps to stop certain bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract walls.

2. Cardiovascular diseases (CVD):

Some evidence suggests that the polyphenols in cranberries may reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It does this by preventing platelet build-up and reducing blood pressure, through anti-inflammatory mechanisms. 

3. Improves digestion:

Fiber is great for overall gut health, and cranberries are packed with it—one cup has about 4.6 grams of fiber. This is important because we need fiber for a healthy digestive system and to maintain regular bowel movements

4.  Prevents infections: 

Some chemicals in cranberries may help fight viruses and bacteria. Cranberries inhibited the growth of seven bacterial microbes. 

5. Vitamins and Minerals:

Cranberries are primarily made up of carbs and fiber. They also boast several vitamins and minerals, including manganese, copper, and vitamins C, E, and K1. But cranberry juice has almost no fiber.
